Irakli Gaprindashvili / Chief Legal Counsel
Irakli has 15 years of legal experience in different state, municipal and private organizations.
Irakli is the Chairman of ICC Georgia Tax Commission and simultaneously he is the Managing Partner at GLCC Law Firm.
At the beginning of his legal career, Mr. Gaprindashvili worked as an Adviser at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, Department of Contract expertise and State Debt where his main responsibilities and duties where revision and drafting of international credit and grant agreements between the State of Georgia and international financial and donor organizations.
Later, in 2005, Irakli moved to the Legal Department of Administration of the President of Georgia as a senior consultant, where his main occupation was legal expertise and drafting of Acts and Decrees of the President of Georgia.
In 2006, he became a Head of the Legal Department in Municipal Property Management Service at Tbilisi City Hall, where he was mainly involved in providing legal services for municipality property sales transactions, property management, and drafting of Municipal decrees regarding its property issues.
Later on he moved to the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation where he worked as a Senior Lawyer. His main functions at GOGC where the drafting of contracts regarding gas purchase and sale, also Production Share Agreements (PSA).
Mr. Gaprindashvili was also involved in relationship with Investors in the field of Oil and Gas and relationship with donor Organizations. In 2008-2010, Mr. Gaprindashvili was Legal Counsel at Old City Rehabilitation and Development Fund (OCRD).
Within his practical experience Irakli was involved in drafting of several important laws, in particular, in 2004-2005 amendments to the Civil Code of Georgia, Insolvency legislation, in 2012-2013 he was advising the Ministry of Justice regarding Enforcement legislation drafting process in frames of EU funded Project, he is also a key player regarding the tax legislation amendments within ICC tax commission.
